Grief ResourcesAt Hippensteel we know that the death of a loved one is a life-altering experience, one that carries far beyond the actual funeral. When a loved one dies we are forever changed. We hope you will find some support on this site and from the links to many other helpful sites. We have peer grief support groups available for ages 7 to 107! Also a grief library, Trails of Hope Camp for Grieving Children, and many other grief resources available to assist you. We are always happy to answer any questions! All responses will be held in strictest confidence.
HIPPENSTEEL GRIEF GROUPS—Fall & Winter 2009 ~ 2010 If you are interested in any of the following groups, please contact Bev Hardesty, Grief Center Director, at 765-491-6119 for more information and to register. Group space is limited and you must be registered to attend any of the groups. Hippensteel Funeral Service and Crematory provides these groups at no charge. bev@hippensteelfuneralhome.com for email correspondance. SNIFFLES This grief group is for children, ages 7-12 who are grieving the death of a loved one. This group will meet on the following Mondays from 6:30-7:30. This is a closed group and registration is required.
IN MY OWN TIME This grief group is for teenagers, ages 13-17 who are grieving the death of a loved one. This group will meet on the following Mondays from 6:30-7:30 at. This is a closed group and registration is required.
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN This grief group is for adults 18 years and older who are grieving the death of a loved one. This group will meet on the following Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00. This is a closed group and registration is required.
