| Harold Wayne “Horsey” Cadwallader, age 77, of Lafayette, died at 3:40 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010 in his residence. Born on March 21, 1932 in Lafayette, he was the son of the late Marvin Cadwallader & Maggie (Dickey) Cadwallader. He served with the Navy during the Korean & Vietnam Wars. He married Carol Jean Williams on February 7, 1975 in West Lafayette. He was a truck driver for Scotlad Foods, LCL for 25 years retiring in 1995. He also worked for the Lafayette Street Department for 10 years. He was a member of the Evergreen Wesleyan Church. He also was a member of the Northwest Indiana Steelheaders & Michigan Steelheaders. He enjoyed fishing & woodworking. Surviving with his wife are 2 sons: Curtis Cadwallader & Cary Cadwallader, both of Miami, FL, 3 daughters, Kathy Brown (husb: Farris) of Harrogate, TN, Debra McKim (husb: Steve) & Vickie Cadwallader, both of Lafayette. Also surviving are, 1 brother Robert Cadwallader (wife: Nancy) of Lafayette, 6 grandchildren: Jamie, Stephen, Tim, Tracy, Misty & Sheila & 7 great-grandchildren: Morgan, Madison, Rhaven, Lacy, Kaylee, Abbie & Olivia. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Candice Cadwallader. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Service at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Pastor Joseph E. Park officiating with interment at Spring Vale Cemetery with Military Rites. Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care. Memorial contributions may be made to the Evergreen Wesleyan Church.
