| Margaret (McIntosh) Shadowens, 78, of West Lafayette, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Heritage Health Care. Born in Tab, IN on December 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George L. and Zelpha Maude Pence McIntosh. She was a graduate of Williamsport High School.
On June 8, 1949, she married Harley Ray Shadowens in Williamsport. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1989. Mrs. Shadowens was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and playing piano.
Surviving are two sons; Kevin Shadowens of Lafayette and David Shadowens of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren; and four nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Abner and Carl McIntosh.
Visitation one hour prior to the 1 p.m. service Saturday at Hippensteel Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating. Burial to follow at North Union Cemetery.
