| Amy Joanne Ingram, 39, of Lafayette, formerly of Essex Junction, VT, died at her residence on Sunday, March 7, 2010. Born in Burlington, VT on September 11, 1970, she was the daughter of Ruby (Northrip) Ingram Huston (husband, James, Sr.) of Monroe, OH, and the late Raymond Karl Ingram, Sr.
Ms. Ingram was a 1988 graduate of Essex Junction High School and received her Associate’s degree in computer science from Community College in Vermont. She attended Johnson State Teachers college and the University of Vermont in Burlington. She was a graduate clerk in the Computer Science department at Purdue University for nine years. While living in Vermont, she worked at various jobs in Computer Science. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 6689, Essex Junction, VT, and a member of several internet game groups. She enjoyed reading, writing, and singing. She always thought of others, and always had a smile on her face.
Surviving with her mother and step-father are two brothers, Raymond Ingram, Jr. of Burlington, VT and Martin Ingram, Sr. (wife, Mary) of Essex Junction, VT; three sisters, Deborah Gilmond (husband, Allston “Joe”) of Colchester, VT, Donna Wrobel (husband, Tom) of Lisbon Falls, ME, and Patricia Ward (husband, Patrick) of Colchester, VT; a step-brother, James Huston, Jr. (wife, Rebecca) of Fountain, CO; a step-sister, Jean Balko (husband, Steve) of Wellston, OH; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation one hour prior to the 10 a.m memorial service Saturday at Hippensteel Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date at Bristol Cemetery in Bristol, VT.
