Francis "Mic" Driscoll

Francis C. “Mic” Driscoll, 69, of Lafayette passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Franciscan Health East. He was born June 25, 1951 in Chicago, IL, to the late Timothy D. and Dorothy (McCrea) Driscoll. He was a graduate of North Judson San Pierre High School. Mic was a Recreational Therapist for the Lake County Jail and State Prison. He was member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. On October 16, 1982 he married Mary K. Neumaier in Dyer, IN and she survives. Mic was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching western movies. He also enjoyed playing softball and semi-professional football. Along with Mary, he is survived by his sons: Greg Driscoll and Jon (Wendy) Driscoll of both Lafayette; siblings: Kathy (LeRoy) Thompson, Margaret (Larry) Schlesser, Daniel (Tammy) Driscoll, Christina Denney, Dorothy (Tom) Tolbert, Eleanor Driscoll, Timothy Driscoll and Mary (Steve) Novath. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 5pm – 7pm Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday, July 23, 2020 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Rev. Father Cole Daily. In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Due to COVID 19 we are requiring that all attendees do wear masks.
